Twelve stars surrounded King Albert II ( new bust ) monogram a capital “A” underneath a crown and BE below at right date below between mint master mark at left and mint mark at right.
Reverse
2 on the left-hand side follow by EURO CENT in two lines six straight lines run vertically between the lower and upper right-hand side with a star at both ends of the line, and with the globe with European continent in the middle the initials ‘LL’ of the engraver appear near the right-hand edge of the coin.
